This policy explains how we handle personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
2. What data we collect
Data you give us
When you submit the consultation form we collect the details you enter: name, telephone, email address, city, property type, budget range and the description of your project.
Data collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs exist to keep the service running and secure.
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we process it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and preparing an initial assessment | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Performing and administering an agreed project | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Keeping the website available and secure (server logs) | Our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure site — Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Meeting accounting, tax and other legal obligations | Legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) |
| Optional analytics, if you accept them | Your consent — Art. 6(1)(a), withdrawable at any time |
Providing the form data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: kept while we are in contact about the enquiry and for 12 months after the last exchange, then deleted.
- Client and project records: kept for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
- Accounting and tax records: retained for the periods required by Spanish law — generally 6 years under the Commercial Code and 4 years for tax purposes.
- Server logs: kept for the period set by our hosting provider and used only to keep the service running and secure.
When a period ends the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (GDPR Art. 28):
- Website hosting
- Email delivery
- Accounting services
Article 13(1)(e) of the GDPR allows recipients to be described by category. We will name the specific providers on request — write to the address in section 1.
We may also disclose data to public authorities where we are legally required to do so.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Where a provider we use processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer is covered either by a European Commission adequacy decision or by Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not transfer personal data to a third country without one of these safeguards in place.
Note that the web fonts used on this site are currently requested from Google servers, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads. This is explained in the Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16);
- have your data erased (Art. 17);
- restrict how we process it (Art. 18);
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it (Art. 7(3)).
To exercise any of these, write to info@globalhubiberico.com. We reply within one month; where a request is complex we may extend this by two further months and will tell you if we do.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es.
8. Automated decision-making
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Where the change is significant we will make it visible on the site.
